At ALIVE! we are not simply teaching you how to pass your driving test. Our philosophy is that we are teaching you a skill that you will probably go on to use for the rest of your life. It is important therefore that you get high quality tuition right from the start.

Of course, once you have achieved that level of capability, you will, inevitably, pass your driving test.

Alive is run by Chris Macaré, a fully qualified DSA Approved Driving Instructor with over 30 years driving experience. Chris has a background which includes training in a variety of environments. This experience helps him to ensure that lessons are structured and focused with clear learning objectives, whilst also being fun, flexible and relaxed. A great combination!

Chris is a member of both the Driving Instructors Association and the Institute of Professional Driving Instructors and is also an Institute of Advanced Motorists Registered Instructor. In addition, Chris complies with the Driving Standards Agency Code of Conduct which means that you will receive a highly professional standard of tuition and a friendly, personal service at all times.
