Alive! Driving Tuition
"I needed someone who was fun to be with but could also be quite firm and insist that I drove the way he wanted. Chris fitted the bill perfectly." Ian, Ashby de la Zouch

Qualified Drivers

Most people only learn to drive once in their life and it is important therefore to get excellent tuition right from the start, hence our slogan .. because you only learn once!

Having said that, passing your driving test is only the start of becoming a good driver and we should always aim to continue to learn and build on our knowledge and experience.

At Alive! we are committed to continuing development and we offer...

Pass Plus

Pass Plus Logo

Aimed at improving the skills of novice drivers. Pass Plus offers valuable experience on roads and in conditions that you may not be familiar with such as.. town driving, rural driving, all weather driving, night driving, dual carriageways and motorways. On completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate, which can be used to gain a substantial discount on your first year's insurance.

Motorway training

Motorway Sign

Until you are a full licence holder, motorways are off limits to you. We can provide specific training to develop safe control, planning, anticipation and judgement at higher speeds.

Gap training

If there has been a gap between passing your test and getting your first car you'll be feeling a little rusty and apprehensive. Get your confidence back with some tailor-made support either in your own vehicle or in ours.

Refresher Courses

You're a full licence holder but haven't driven for some time. Maybe there's been a change in your personal circumstances and now you need that independence. A course can be designed just for you which will soon get you back up to speed (urghh -terrible pun!).

Foreign licence holders

Your national licence may have entitled you to drive for 12 months in the U.K. but now you need to take the theory and practical tests to get a U.K. licence. We can build on your existing expertise and can guide you through the expectations, customs and practices of driving in the U.K.
